| This site is devoted to detailing the work of the Carolinas Deanery which is part of The Orthodox Church in America's Diocese of the South. Our territory covers the geographic region of North and South Carolina - USA. Our archpastor is His Eminence, the Most Reverend DMITRI, Archbishop of Dallas and the South, and our dean is the Rev. Fr. Marcus Burch, rector of St. John of the Ladder Orthdodox Church in Greenville, South Carolina. It is our desire to see the Church proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the Carolinas. Rooted in the ancient and unchanging faith of the Apostles, the Eastern Orthodox Church closely guards the faith handed down from Christ to his Apostles.
